Roseau, Dominica: Champagne Reef Divers won the final match of the 2nd edition of the Dream 11 Nature Isle T10 tournament against Barana Aute Warriors on Sunday, January 8, 2023. The match was held in the Windsor Park Sports Stadium, Dominica. 

Champagne Reef Divers have advanced to the Finals of the Dream 11 Nature Isle T10 Cricket Tournament with leading run scorer Alick Athanaze and the leading wicket taker Darron Nedd in Dominica. 

Dream 11 Nature Isle T 10 tournament was started on December 22, 2022, and reached its finals on January 8, 2023. 

Wishes have been poured on the winners after the staging of the finals of the tournament. Minister responsibility with Sports- Oscar George extended greetings to the winners. 

He congratulated the champions of the 2nd edition of the Dream 11 Nature Isle T10 tournament, the Champagne Reef Divers. He stated that he also wanted to commend the efforts of the other finalist, the Barana Aute Warriors as well as all the other teams that took part in the tournament in Dominica. 

Oscar George added, “We were treated to some exciting and high-quality cricket over the last two weeks. Kudos to all who played important roles in hosting this tournament. Let’s continue to advance sports in the Nature Isle and aim to be the sporting capital of the region. Well done to everyone.”

Cozier Frederick- Parliamentary Representative for Salybia constituency would like to congratulate the winners of the Dream 11 Nature Isle T10 Tournament second edition, the Champagne Reef Divers and the efforts of the defending champions the Barana Aute Warriors.

“I would also like to congratulate the other participating teams and especially the Kalinago braves on each teams, “said the member of parliament of Dominica. 

He added that Kalinago Braves were also captains; they had Kershaski Jno Lewis as the Captain of the Sari Sari Sunrisers, Geian Benjamin as Captain of the Barana Aute Warriors and Deon Burton as Captain of the Indian River Rowers.

DBS Radio also extended congratulations to the Champagne Reef Divers, Champions of the Dream 11 Nature Isle T10 Cricket Tournament as they dethroned the Barana Aute Warriors…Alick Athanaze was named man of the match with 51 runs and 3 wickets…he was also named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Signal Band also extended congratulations to the Champagne Reef Divers, champions of the Dream 11 T10 Tournament, which climaxed today at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium. Signal Band was a proud sponsor of the tournament – they are sure by now you know “everybody coming down to de stadium. 

KIMARA HURTAULT is very pleased with her team after qualifying for the second round of the Dream 11 Nature Isle T10 Tournament. The Manager of the Champagne Reef Divers praised her team after finishing at the bottom of the table in last season’s competition.

MALCOLM JOSEPH gave his views as the Reef Divers was about to bat.
