Roseau, Dominica: Castle Bruce Secondary School (CBSS) U15 secured victory in the match of the 2023 Sports Division Secondary Schools Football Championships. The match was held on September 29, 2023 at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.
It was the game two of the doubleheader in the U15 Division at the Windsor Park Stadium. The first half of play was a competitive affair but it was CBSS which looked the much better team creatively.
It wasn’t a surprise when they opened the scoring from the penalty spot through Taran George to go into the interval with the 1 goal to nil advantage.
Portsmouth Secondary School had no answer for the relentless attack of the Castle Bruce Secondary School in the second half as they piled on the pressure to score 4 unanswered goals as they ran out 5 goals to nil winners in a dominant display.
Taran George got his second of the match for his brace, Sherquan Gustave got 1, and Jerrel Charles also got 2 goals (brace) in the second half.
Jayvon Hamilton was selected as PSS player of the game, and Jerrel Charles was the CBSS player of the game.

In game one, the Saint Mary’s Academy got off to a dream start by defeating the 2022 defending Champion Dominica Grammar School by 1 goal to nil.
It was a very competitive game as both teams left it all on the field of play. But it was SMA who created the most and the better chances of scoring, but they were not able to convert. At the half, the scores were 0-0.
The second half saw SMA coming out on the front foot and got the opening goal from the boot of Otis Nesty to send to the SMA bench and supporters into jubilation. DGS tried their utmost to come up with the equalizer, but SMA defense was resilient and held on for the 1 to 0 victory and a good result to kick off their campaign this season.
Che Etienne was selected as the SMA player of the game, while Dwight Walsh was the DGS player of the game.
