Roseau, Dominica: The CastleBruce Secondary School took full advantage of their home ground in the Sports Division Secondary Schools Football Competition in the Commonwealth of Dominica, Friday, 13 January 2023, in the U17 Division at the Castle Bruce playing field.
CastleBruce Secondary defeated the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School by six goals to 1 to maintain their undefeated start in the U17 Division. Deandre Francis scored two goals, and Fabio Drigo, Accer Burton, Dhamario Challenger and Turrie Christmas got one goal each for CastleBruce Secondary.
Johnoah John scored the lone goal for Isaiah Thomas Secondary. Only one game was played yesterday in the 13 & Under Division in the Sports Division Secondary Schools Football Competition at Benjamin’s Park.

Home field was of no advantage to the North East Comprehensive School at Londonderry today Friday 13 January 2023 in the U15 Division of the Sports Division Football Competition.
They were defeated by the Saint Mary’s Academy by a 6 goals to 2 margin. Konrad Simon got five goals and Ajay Bellot 1 for Saint Mary’s Academy.
Niron Abraham and Dre Prince score 1 goal each for the North East Comprehensive School.
The Convent High School defeated the North East Comprehensive School B 31 to 0 in an under-16 netball match played in the secondary schools netball championship at Wesley.
Kenya John 18, Aliyah Francois 7 and Beta Vidal 6 were the main contributors.
Only one of the two games scheduled for Thursday, 12 January will take place. In the 13 and Under the Portsmouth Secondary School will face the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School at Benjamin Park at 2:30 pm.
The match between the Portsmouth Secondary School and the Dominica Grammar School in the U17 Division is postponed due to the DGS Founders day celebration. The match will be rescheduled at a later date.
