Roseau, Dominica: Minister of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment of the commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Irving Mclntyre, hosted Cardio Jam at Laudat again on Saturday, April 11, 2022.
The Cardio Jam commenced at Roseau Valley, and “it was an exciting day in the valley” for the Health Minister of Dominica.
Minister of Health, Wellness of Dominica has been accompanied by the Ministry of Tourism and Parliament Representative from Roseau Valley. In the valley, they have spent a great time at the freshwater lake in the ambience of the Nature Island.
Dr Mclntyre noted, “It was a time well spent at the freshwater lake in an ambience so refreshing and rejuvenating.”
He further encouraged the people and highlighted the significance of health and keeping fit and fine.
“An active lifestyle is surely one way to go in preventing illness and maintaining wellness”, underlined Health Minister.
While extending gratitude to various government officials of Dominica, Dr Mclntrye asserted that thanks also go out to the Ministry of Tourism and the public for making these events a success.
The Minister of Health also encouraged the people of the country to remain fit as health is important to live a long life. He said that outdoor activities always increase the stamina of people and build capacity in the body’s hormones. It further increases the blood circulation among internal organs and also keeps the human body away from deadly diseases such as COVID-19 or anything else.
“Let’s continue to stay active and build a healthy nation. The wellness capital of Dominica, the Roseau Valley, is always open to you. WELLNESS FOR ALL”, the health minister added.
Last Saturday, Dr Mclyntre also hosted a Cardio Jam in the Roseau Valley. While describing it as a fun day, Minister of Health Mclntrye noted that Saturday, April 2, was fun and wellness in the Roseau Valley.
