Dominica announces schedule of games and matches of Caribbean Youth Netball Tournament

Dominica is all set to host the 20th Jean Pierre Caribbean Youth Netball Tournament and announced the schedule for the games and the activities starting from Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Roseau, Dominica: Dominica is all set to host the 20th Jean Pierre Caribbean Youth Netball Tournament and announced the schedule for the games and the activities starting from Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Dominica Netball Association took to Facebook and shared the calendar of events which is as follows:

On Saturday, March 25, 2023:

  • 4: 00 pm: The opening ceremony of the Netball Tournament will be held on March 24 at the Netball Courts of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.
  • 5: 30 pm: The first match will be held between Dominica and Saint Lucia at Court 1 of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.
  • 6: 30 pm: The teams such as Barbados and Cayman Islands will play the second match of the tournament. The match will be played at Court 1 of the Sports Stadium.
  • 7: 30 pm: The match will be held between Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago at the Court 1 of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.

On Sunday, March 26, 2023:

  • 9: 00 am: The Church Service will be held on the second day at Truth and Grace Fellowship Global.
  • 5: 30 pm: The match will be held between Barbados and Grenada at the Court 1 of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.
  • 6: 30 pm: The Cayman Islands and Saint Lucia will compete in the match at the Court 1 of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.
  • 7: 30 pm: Dominica and Trinidad and Tobago will play the Netball Match at Court 1 of the Sports Stadium.

On Monday, March 27, 2023:

  • From 9: 00 am to 2: 00 pm: The CAN 49th AGM will be held in Conference Room, Windsor Park Sports Stadium.
  • 5: 30 pm: Cayman Island vs Grenada (Court 1 of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium)
  • 6: 30 pm: Barbados vs Saint Lucia (Court of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium)
  • 7: 30 pm: Dominica vs Grenada (Court of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium)

On Tuesday, March 28, 2023:

  • From 7: 00 am and 11: 00 pm: Breakfast With the stars will be held under the theme: Caribbean Netball Action for Climate Empowerment at Goodwill Parish Hall.
  • 5: 30 pm: Cayman Islands vs Trinidad and Tobago (Court 1 of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium)
  • 6: 30 pm: Barbados vs Saint Lucia (Court 1 of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium)
  • 7: 30 pm: Dominica vs Grenada (Court 1 of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium)

On Wednesday, March 29, 2023:

  • 8: 00 pm: The Shooting competition will be held at court 1 of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium)
  • 5: 00 pm: Grenada vs Saint Lucia (Windsor Park Sports Stadium- Court 1)
  • 6: 00 pm: Cayman Islands vs Dominica (Windsor Park Sports Stadium– Court 1)
  • 7: 00 pm: Barbados vs Trinidad and Tobago (Windsor Park Sports Stadium- Court 1)
  • 8: 00 pm: The Closing Ceremony of the Youth Netball Tournament will be held at Netball Courts

On Thursday, March 30, 2023:

  • 9: 00 am: The DNA Umpiring Session will be held at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.

On Friday, March 31, 2023 and Friday, April 1, 2023:

  • All Day: The Departure of Country Delegations, Umpires, UAPs and CAN Executive will be held at Douglas Charles Airport/ Ferry Terminal.
