Sports Division of the Commonwealth of Dominica announced the results from Monday's matches in the Secondary Schools Netball Championship.

Roseau, Dominica: Sports Division of the Commonwealth of Dominica announced the results from Monday’s matches in the Secondary Schools Netball Championship. 

Through its Facebook Page, the Sports Division of Dominica stated that: 

At the ITSS grounds: CHS(B) vs ITSS

13. 12 Scoring for CHS (B) were Monique Edwards 9/17, Tanya Timothy 2/4 Stephy Laville 2/4 and scoring for ITSS were Mamina Jeune 8/15 and Roseberline Rattis 4/8.

Two games were played at the Convent High School grounds in the Sports Division Netball Championship. Game one was played between Orion Academy and WHS. WHS won 10-2. Scoring for the WHS Syhesha Jermain 6/14, Nima Browne 1/3, Zahara Langford 3/4. Scoring for Orion, Ahmazzin Berridge 2/9.

In the second game between DGS and GSS, DGS won 13- 6. Scoring for DGS were Roushelle Marshall 9/14, Selena Wayland 4/11. For GSS, Tanisha Cuffy 2/5 and Khyel Morancie 4/9.

Two matches were played in Castle Bruce: In Match one in the Under 16 division, Castle Bruce Secondary School went down to the St John’s Academy. At the end of regulation time the scores were tied 9 each. In extra time the St John’s Academy walked away with the win with a final scores 11-10.

In the second encounter in the Under 20 division, the Castle Bruce Secondary School went down to the Academix with a final score of 13-54

Sports Division of Dominica also shared the update on two of the three matches scheduled that were played on Monday, 23rd January 2023, in the 13 and under to conclude the Zonal stage in the Sports Division Secondary Schools Football Competition.

Isaiah Thomas Secondary School did not have to sweat it out as the North East Comprehensive School forfeited the match in game one.

In Lindo Park in Goodwill, the Saint Mary’s Academy got past the Pierre Charles Secondary School by two goals to nil.

Karmal Casimier and Armand Alie scored 1 goal each for Saint Mary’s Academy. Over in Newtown, the CastleBruce Secondary School went unbeaten in their Zone to qualify in first place with three goals to zero victories over the Dominica Grammar School.

Taran George scored a brace (2 goals) and Jerrel Charles 1 for the CastleBruce Secondary School.
