Dominica announces result of Sports Division Primary Schools Football Championship 

National Bank of Dominica Ltd announced the winners of the NBD/Sports Division Primary Schools Football Championship 2023. NBD congratulated the winners of the championships. 

Roseau, Dominica: National Bank of Dominica Ltd announced the winners of the NBD/Sports Division Primary Schools Football Championship 2023. NBD congratulated the winners of the championships. 

NBD stated, “It extends its congratulations to the winning schools as well as to all the schools that took part in the NBD/Sports Division Primary Schools Football Championship 2023.” 

The students did their best and showed the spirit of competition and enthusiasm. NBD is the official sponsor of the primary school’s football championship. This event reinforces our commitment to supporting up-and-coming male and female footballers. 

The top performers were as follows:

Developmental Division:

  • Winner – Baroness Patricia Scotland Primary School
  • 2nd Place – Warner Primary School
  • 3rd Place – Morne Juane Primary School

Boys Division:

  • Winner – St. Luke’s Primary School
  • 2nd Place – Roosevelt Douglas Primary School
  • 3rd Place – Saint Mary’s Primary School

Girls Division:

  • Winner – Grand Fond / Morne Jaune Primary School
  • 2nd Place – Goodwill Primary School
  • 3rd Place – Bense / Thibaud Primary School

All the Goal Scorers during regulation time and extra time were given a gift compliments the National Bank of Dominica Ltd. The Match Officials also received a Medal for their services.

Carligue Prevost also received a Special Award from the National Bank of Dominica Ltd Representative for his outstanding performance in the Boys Division One Finals. The crowd was a huge one and very supportive to their various Schools.

Grandfond/Morne Jaune combined Primary Schools are Champions of the National Bank of Dominica Ltd Sports Division 2023 Primary Schools Girls Football competition. They did so by defeating the Goodwill Primary School by two goals to nil on Friday, 19th May, at Benjamin Park.

Sports Division Dominica also featured cricket sessions at Vielle Case – students of Baroness Scotland Primary and Penville Primary

  • Windsor Park – Newtown Primary
  • Coulibistrie – Colihaut and Coulibistrie primary
