Delta Airlines adds Saturday-only flight from Atlanta to Saint Lucia

Delta Airlines announced the additional Saturday-only flight from Atlanta to Saint Lucia. The service will start on January 13, 2024 and run through April 6, 2024.

Castries, Saint Lucia: Delta Airlines announced the additional Saturday-only flight from Atlanta to Saint Lucia. The service will start on January 13, 2024 and run through April 6, 2024.

It is the second daily flight of the Delta Airlines for Saint Lucia. Earlier, the airline announced to add more flights this winter. Ernest Hilaire- Deputy Prime Minister added that the service from the Delta Airlines will enhance the travel experience of the travellers to the country.

Saint Lucia Tourism Authority expressed pleasure and said that the service will enhance the network of Saint Lucia with other countries. It will nurture partnership with esteemed US airline counterparts.

Deputy PM Hilaire added that the service will work to build a sustainable and prosperous future fortified by seamless connections and memorable travel experiences.

Further, it also expected that the service will boost the tourism sector with an increase of over 12 percent in arrivals. It will also increase the partnerships between Saint Lucia and its valued American visitors. The second Saturday flight by Delta Airlines from Atlanta will enrich the travel options for the travellers.

Saint Lucia tourism sector on growth pace

Saint Lucia has been experiencing significant growth in its tourism sector. The Delta Airlines’ daily service and the winter flights of American Airlines will cater the need of the tourists. Besides this, Saint Lucia is all set to replace A319 with a B737 between the period of mid-February and Summer 2024.

The collective efforts will yield an impressive addition of 9,913 seats from November to April. It will add a remarkable 7 percent increase in seat availability compared to corresponding period of the 2022/23 winter/spring season.
