
Antigua and Barbuda: The cricket legend Vivian Richards welcomed and met the passengers and Captain of the cruise ship Arvia on March 11, 2023, when it docked at the Antigua cruise port.
Arvia’s passengers get the opportunity of a lifetime to meet cricket legend, Vivian Richards. He also met with Arvia’s crew members. Fans line up to meet Vivian Richards, as it has arrived for its final homeporting call for the season in Antigua.
Captain Paul Brown took Antigua Cruise Port General Manager Dona Regis- Prosper, Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez and Sir Vivian Richards on tour aboard Arvia. Vivian Richards took a picture with Arvia’s Pakistani team and presented a signed bat to Arvia’s Captain, Paul Brown, as the vessel made its last visit for the season.

Antigua Cruise Port and AIDA Perla partnered for an “epic” and educational experience. Antigua Seventh-day Adventist School grade 5 students toured the vessel today. Captain Pedro Ziegler, General Manager Kai Botschek and Entertainment Manager Dominik Meisterfeld answered a range of questions. The students learnt about the engines used to the entertainment offered aboard. The students say they had an “amazing” day.
Glenfield Charles, his wife Carolena and their granddaughter are back. The Antiguan family started and ended their cruise aboard Arvia right here in Antigua. Minister of Tourism Charles Fernandez and Antigua Cruise Port General Manager Dona Regis-Prosper helped to welcome them home.
