CPL 2022: Guyana Amazon Warriors secures second straight victory on their homeland 

Guyana has been hosting the matches of the Hero CPL 2022, and a total of eight matches are set to play on their field. So far, four matches have been played, and Guyana Amazon Warriors won the two matches.

CPL 2022: Performing great in their homeland, Guyana Amazon Warriors secured a straight second victory in the 26th match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 2022. The Warriors beat up Saint Lucia Kings by six wickets in the Providence Stadium, Guyana. 

Guyana has been hosting the matches of the Hero CPL 2022, and a total of eight matches are set to play on their field. So far, four matches have been played, and Guyana Amazon Warriors won the two matches. 

Firstly, Saint Lucia Kings won the toss and opted to bat first, but the decision has not worked well for the team. After Mark Deyal and Faf Du Plessis came to bat on the field from Saint Lucia, Kings gave a good starting to the innings. Captain Du Plessis took four boundaries in s single over, which pushed the team to 29 runs with one wicket down in just three overs. 

While playing the innings of 41 runs, Captian of Kings took his team to 47 runs after 5.3 overs with one wicket down. Their powerplay was finished on 62 runs with one out. 

Captian from Kings reached its 50 and pushed his team to 80 runs after finishing the eight overs. Faf Du Plessis made his century, and Saint Lucia Kings stood at 157 in three outs. With the good innings, Kings makes the 194 runs in five outs and sets the target of 195 for Amazon Warriors

Guyana Amazon Warriors gave a strong starting to the innings as after the finishing of the four overs, the team stood at 48 runs with zero outs. In the first over, they gave four boundaries to the Saint Lucia Kings. 

After the finishing of 11 overs, the Warriors stood at 106 runs with three outs. In the 15 overs, they required only 48 runs. With the conclusion of the 18 overs, the team stood at 179 runs and required only 16 runs from 12 balls.
