Department of Environment with the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis is leading a recycling project of plastic, aimed to reduce waste and strengthen sustainability and to encourage a healthy environment.
The twin-island nation has sent three more containers of emergency supplies to Vincent and the Grenadines added two others previously sent supplies in the past. St Kitts & Nevis proved to be a Good Samaritan for its displaced brothers and sisters in the aftermath of the ongoing eruptions of La Soufrière volcano.
Dr Denzil Douglas, Leader of the Opposition and the St Kitts-Nevis Labour Party, and Larry Vaughn, 1st Vice President of the St. Kitts Nevis Trades and Labour Union spoke recently at a Town Hall meeting in Newton Ground Village in solidarity with workers on the vaccination issue.
Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris, during a vaccination session at Sylvia Garnette Health Centre in Tabernacle said that more than a third portion of the target population has been vaccinated against COVID-19.
