Deputy Prime Minister of St Lucia and Parliament Representative for Castries Constituency Ernest Hilaire provided an update on the festival and expressed his pleasure over the return most loved event.

So, at every point in the different situations, the countries are calling different festivals and functions events which assist them in attracting the visitors across the globe. 

With all such splendid events, the government of St Lucia is all set to commence the next edition of the much-awaited and most loving CARNIVAL festival in 2022. The CARNIVAL festival will call the visitors to perform and attend the function, which will be commenced after the two hiatus years of the deadly viral infection of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Deputy Prime Minister of St Lucia and Parliament Representative for Castries Constituency Ernest Hilaire provided an update on the festival and expressed his pleasure over the return most loved event. 

The theme of the St Lucia Carnival 2022 is nothing sweeter than that and announced the events that will be commenced during the festival. The festival will be held at the end of May 2022.

Earlier, the authorities have also organized the “National CARNIVAL Queen Pageant” on Thursday, 12 May 2022, at around 9: 00 pm. It has been held through collaboration with a Choice media network. 

Ernest Hilaire noted the” BIG REVEAL” to the event and asked the audience “, Who will make the top eight for National Carnival Queen Pageant”. 

He further congratulated further ladies who have entered the Pageant while adding, “Last evening, I was notified that three young ladies from communities in Castries South made the final eight of the slate of contestants who will compete this year at the National Carnival Queen Pageant. “

Ernest Hilaire said that these three ladies from his constituency make the final eight of the slate of contestants this year. 

Deputy Prime Minister Hilaire expressed, “Help me congratulate Miss Xenia Douglas (La Toc Road) Miss Nadege Mc. Lauren (Ciceron) and Miss Nyambi Jn. Baptiste (Ciceron).”
