Caribbean: In the exciting matches of the CARIFTA 2022 tournament, various Caribbean countries secured the medals for their respective country. Here is the result of the CARIFTA 2022 matches and medal standings at the end of the Day 2 schedule on Sunday night.
The CARIFTA was organised by Jamaica at the National Stadium in Kingston. Now, the host country tops in the medal standings after winning 21 medals on Sunday, 2022.
In total, Jamaica tallied 54 medals, including 26 golds, 19 silvers and nine bronze. On Saturday morning, the country bagged 33 medals.
Further, the British Virgin Islands successfully secured the second position in the medal standings with four gold medals on Saturday. Till now, overall, five medals are on the list of the country.
Besides this, Trinidad and Tobago stands in the third position with 16 medals. It includes a total of two golds, six silvers and eight bronze as per the Saturday tally. On the other hand, it added four medals to its tally on Sunday.
Guyana stands in the fourth position with five medals which includes two golds and three silvers; on the other hand, Bahamas stands in the fifth position with ten medals which includes one gold, six silvers and three bronze.
In addition to that, Dominica achieved two medals and Antigua and Barbuda achieves three medals in total.
