One of the residents of Guyana named Zaria Paul also appreciated Dr Irfaan Ali and noted, “Wonderful initiative, Mr President, what about aviation fuel? Persons in the hinterland who depend on goods to be transported by air are now faced with a higher cost of living since the Airline has increased the cost of airfare and cargo. So now we are being faced with an increase in the cost of goods in GT as well as an increase to transport the goods to the hinterland. On behalf of all of us in the hinterland, I kindly ask that you and your hard-working staff look into this issue and come up with a realistic plan to help us during this time of crisis”.
