Caribbean leaders celebrate PM Skerrit’s 50th birthday at 9th Summit of Americas

As CARICOM Heads of the government of different countries attended the ninth Summit of the Americas, Prime Minister of Dominica- Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, received warm wishes from their counterparts. 

Caribbean: As CARICOM Heads of the government of different countries attended the ninth Summit of the Americas, Prime Minister of Dominica– Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, received warm wishes from his counterparts. 

Various CARICOM leaders celebrated the birthday of Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit and also held cake cutting ceremony. 

Further, President Irfaan Ali also took to Social Media and shared a glimpse of the birthday celebration. 

President Dr Irfaan Ali and other CARICOM leaders today celebrated the 50th birthday of the Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, while in Los Angeles, California, for this week’s ninth Summit of the Americas.

The Guyanese Head of State, who called the long-standing prime minister his friend and colleague, also presented a birthday gift to him.

President Irfaan Ali also extended present to Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit.

In the photos, it could be seen that various leaders such as Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister Philip J Pierre and Dr Irfaan Ali etc, also celebrated PM Skerrit’s birthday. 

Various Caribbean leaders joined the summit, and President Irfaan Ali also joined the summit of the Americas. 

Further, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit also attended the summit and issued a statement on the summit. He celebrated his 50th birthday on June 8, 2022, and received wishes from various Dominican leaders. 

As Dr Roosevelt Skerrit- Prime Minister of Dominica, celebrated his 50th birthday, wishes across the country poured on their beloved prime minister. 

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, and received huge appreciation, warm wishes and blessings on his 50th birthday. 

Firstly, wishes came from his beloved wife, Melissa Poponne Skerrit hailed her husband and noted, “Happy 50th birthday to a wonderful father, husband and Prime Minister.” 

She appreciated her husband and said happy birthday to the Love of her life, her dear husband, Roosevelt Skerrit. 

Melissa Skerrit also shared a video on her social media where she outlined Prime Minister as a great leader. She added that he is a leader who cares, a leader who has compassion, a leader who supports youth, and a leader who develops Dominica.
