Grenada: High Commissioner of Canada to Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia & Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, OECS Commission- Lilian Chatterjee, through her Twitter account, shared a glimpse of her interactive engagement with the newly elected Prime Minister of Grenada- Dickon Mitchell. 

The meeting was held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She also shared some glimpses of her meeting with the Prime Minister of Grenada Mitchell through her social media.  

Lilian Chatterjee also stressed that they are eagerly looking forward to deepening the diplomatic and bilateral engagement with the Caribbean country- Grenada. 

She noted, “Pleased to meet Grenada’s newly elected PM Dickon Mitchell to deepen’s a long collaboration with Grenada.”

In the meeting, both delegations talked about their shared priorities between Grenada and Canada. They stated that they would always prefer to build strong, collaborative relations with each other. High Commissioner asserted that Canada looks forward to collaborating on various transformation agendas for Grenada. 

The message reads, “Today, High Commissioner Lilian Chatterjee met with Prime Minister of #Grenada, Dickon Mitchell, reaffirming our shared priorities as we build back stronger, greener & more equal. Canada looks forward to collaborating on Grenada’s transformation agenda.” 

Further, Lilian Chatterjee also held an interactive discussion with Joseph Andall, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Grenada. The meeting was held during the first official of High Commissioner Lilian Chatterjee to the Spice Isle. 

The discussion has been conducted on various matters of concern such as Climate Action, Gender Equality, Economic Recovery and Biometrics Procession for visa applicants. They also touched on various matters of concern and issues related to the global problem called Climate Change. 

It noted, “Productive discussions on #Climate Action; #Gender Equality; #Economic Recovery and Biometrics Processing for visa applicants with the Hon. Joseph Andall, Minister of Foreign Affairs of #Grenada, during High Commissioner Lilian Chatterjee’s 1st official visit to the #Spice Isle.”
