St Kitts and Nevis: The cabinet of the Concerned Citizen’s Movement led Nevis Island Administration has toured the brand new veterinary and animal welfare for Animal Speak on Thursday, April 6, 2022. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Civil Aviation and Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley has given the update about their tour and expressed pleasure over the visit.
He took his Facebook page and noted, “Today, the Cabinet of the Nevis Island Administration had the pleasure of touring the brand new veterinary and animal welfare centre for Animal Speak.”
Mark Brantley also highlighted the significance of the security of the animals in the country and said in this time, it is necessary to provide essential safety and care to the animals, which took huge importance in the growth of the earth and all its resources.
Animals always served humans, earth, and all other living beings. So to ensure the safety of the animals, Mark Brantley asserted that his administration was making efforts.
Outlining the work of CCM-led NIA, Brantley affirmed, “This is a development that the government has supported from its inception as we believe that a significant indicator of a country’s development is the care it provides for its animals.”
He said that the government had deployed several facilities to provide professional care to the animals.
Further, Premier of Nevis Brantley emphasized, “Today we were pleased to learn that cutting-edge technology has been deployed and professional care for animals is now available at this new facility. In addition, there is an extensive pet store where a wide variety of products is available. It was especially satisfying to meet the local staff working at this new facility.”
