Brantley shares glimpse of shooting of feature film in Nevis

St Kitts and Nevis: The fifth feature film is being shot on location in Nevis under the title name “Us or Them”. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Civil Aviation of St Kitts and Nevis and Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley has provided the information about the shooting of the film on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

While informing about the shooting of the film, Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley stated,” On the set of the 5th feature film being shot on location in Nevis titled “Us or Them”.

Mark Brantley further expressed pleasure over the shooting of the film in Nevis and stated that the beauty of Nevis has attracted the directors to use the magnificent location in their films.

He further extended gratitude to MSR Media and Philippe Martinez for their excellent work and the continued partnership with the government.

“Huge thanks to MSR Media and my friend Philippe Martinez for their excellent partnership with my government,” underscored Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley.

Premier Mark Brantley also shared some glimpses of the shooting of the film in Nevis. In the picture they have shared on Facebook, Premier Brantley is on the location of the shooting. The film is being shot on the location, and they are discussing various features of the film.

Earlier, Brantley also stated that his administration has tirelessly made efforts to develop a movie industry on the island as a total of four movies were filmed last year in Nevis.
Out of the four movies, one picture was released worldwide on February 14, 2022.
The name of the movie was ‘A Week in Paradise’, and it has been released on major streaming platforms.

He further informed that MSR Media would offer free premiere screening to the premier of Nevis.

“The idea is for the people of Nevis to come with the families and to watch the very first movie that has been made in Nevis released on big screens, on free public screening, and for the people of the country to come out and see themselves,” Brantley said.
