The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation of SKN and Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley has held a press conference on various initiatives taken under the Concerned Citizens’ Movement led Nevis Island Administration for the country and expressed his pleasure for various development projects on Thursday, February 25, 2022.

Concerned Citizens’ Movement led Nevis Island Administration has initiated various projects such as the construction of the bottler’s road and significant road project that is undertaking and over the next face to six weeks retaining wall construction will continue along with the primary village carriageway property water reconstruction as part of bath village or rehabilitation project.

He further emphasized that part of the Nevis island administrations thrust towards openness and accountability this morning press conference.

Mark Brantley stressed, “I would want to congratulate Digiel Myers and Javelin Taylor, both are from bath united football team, and they have been selected to join St Kitts and Nevis senior men’s national football team”.

He further exclaimed that the department has already excavated and based off the lower base road from one radio to spotlight disco and the road will be sued as an alternative route during construction of the main upper bath road and the condition of this roadway needed to be improved to facilitate any detours.

“We are hopeful that they will avail themselves of the opportunity to find work right in their village, and let me also say to the contractors in the bath that there will be work available on the walls and the work that needs to be done there consistent with this government’s approach that where we are doing projects in communities that members of those communities are we hope the aeon to be the primary beneficiaries and so if you’re listening from the bad village we are looking for workers to be done”.
