Brantley meets Ambassador for Serbia to SKN to strengthen bilateral ties
St Kitts and Nevis: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Nevis Premier Mark Brantley meet the first Ambassador for Serbia to St Kitts and Nevis HE Marko Djuric, in Nevis on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Both the diplomatic leaders discuss various topics of concern to boost the bilateral ties between the two countries.
While notifying about the diplomatic talks between the two leaders, Foreign Minister Brantley recognised the meeting as history and cited that he felt the honour to be part of history to welcome the first Ambassador to Serbia to St Kitts and Nevis and hold fruitful diplomatic talks.
Brantly took to Twitter and informed, “Indeed an honour to be part of history as I welcomed today in Nevis the first Ambassador for Serbia to St Kitts and Nevis HE Marko Djuric”.
He further emphasised that they have discussed various matters to uplift the bilateral ties between the two countries and asserted that the discussions have remained fruitful, and they look forward to continued dialogue. Several contracts and agreements have been signed by the counterparts in Nevis, which could facilitate both the countries in the coming time and hold relevant significance, underscored Brantley.

Meanwhile, Ambassador HE Marko Djuric also remarked about his meeting with Mark Brantley.
While expressing his pleasure to meet with the Premier of Nevis, Marko Djuric took to Twitter and wrote,” Today I was warmly welcomed in Nevis by #St Kitts and Nevis MFAA and Nevis Premier Mark Brantley”.
He outlined the visit of the Premier of Nevis to Serbia for the Non-Alliance Movement, and we will welcome him in the country.
Djuric further emphasized that both leaders have discussed various matters related to diplomacy and concluded multiple agreements and memoranda that will bring our countries even closer.
Moreover, Mark Brantley has also welcomed other diplomatic leaders in Nevis from Colombia and discussed a range of issues relevant to the countries.
Foreign Minister Brantley said that they had welcomed HE Jairo Raul Clopatofsky-Ghisays, a new Ambassador of Colombia to St Kitts and Nevis and discussed various diplomatic matters to strengthen bilateral ties and also signed multiple agreements.
