St Kitts and Nevis: The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Civil Aviation and Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley joined the eighth annual Masharama celebrations 2022 at ETW Park, Charlestown, on Saturday, March 19, 2022.
The Masharama has been celebrated every year in Nevis over the last eight years. Nevis is celebrating the eighth annual Masharama celebrations 2022 on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at around 12 pm at ETW Park.
The Masharama is a cup of cricket competition that is held every year in Nevis at Charlestown.
The cricket competition for the finals will be held between BIG ROCK UNITED and YOUNG GUNS.
The BIG ROCK UNITED team belongs to Outta Nevis; on the other hand, the team named YOUNG GUNS belongs to Outta St Kitts.
The competition will be held between these teams belonging to St Kitts and Nevis on March 19, 2022.
To participate in the cricket cup of the Masharama celebrations, every participant had to pay $10.
The Masharama celebrations also included the Masharma CUP Dominica Competitions.
Along with that, there will also be cultural presentations in the Masharama Celebrations 2022 in the ETW Park, Nevis.
Moreover, there has also been a great entertainment programme at the event as various prominent celebrities will attend the celebrations.
It has been included Blackstone Family, DEEJAY SMUDGE and SELECTOR PURPLE.
On the other, the KORE BAND, Grand Masters Band and Selector Bobby and DJ Tobay have also attended the event and created the entertainment programme in the celebrations.
Further, the RHYTHMZ DANCE THEATER is also there to present an entertainment performance.
On the other hand, there have also been live performances by Syra, Tebulous and King Hollywood in the Masharama celebrations.
The event has included various types of audiences, which includes the Guyanese and St Kitts and Nevus. People from the entire St Kitts and Nevis, and Guyana have attended the event of Masharama celebrations.
Further, Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley encouraged people to participate in the event.
While encouraging people from Guayana and St Kitts and Nevis, Mark Brantley noted, “Come, let’s celebrate with our brothers and sisters from Guyana tomorrow at the annual Masharama at ETW Park, Charlestown“.
Expressing gratitude to all the people who belong to the Caribbean island for their huge contribution to strengthening Nevis and the wider Federation, he stated, “We thank our Caribbean brothers and sisters for their ongoing contribution to building Nevis and the wider Federation”.
On Saturday, March 19, 2022, Mark Brantley met Freddie, a participant of Masharama and showed the power of unity. Mark Brantley said, “Ready like Freddie. Masharama 2022 ETW Park, Charlestown, happening NOW. See you there as we celebrate with our Guyanese brothers and sisters”.
