In Joe Rogan’s Podcast with Stavros Halkais, a discussion on the semen warriors of Papua, New Guinea, took place where the boys had to consume semen to prove their masculinity and manhood.

According to the Papua community in New Guinea, there are six stages which will affirm the manhood and masculinity of the male. The tribe teaches the boys how to detach from the women around them. They teach the male community that women can be dangerous and that they can live without them.

During the podcast, Joe mentioned that when the male child turns 6 or 7 years old, he is taken away from his mother and is brought to an older man who becomes his anal father.

They believe that the only way for a boy to grow strong is that he has to ingest semen in his anus and in his mouth. Joe says that the boys are just sucking penis and mating with men from the age of 6 and 7. It’s a literal tradition where the tribe believes that young boys should get with older men to become men.

He also mentioned the blood-letting ceremony, which involved beating the boys with long sticks on their nostrils and even inserting them in their noses until they bleed.

After that the boys are made to have oral sex with the older ones which does not stop until semen is consumed. It is believed that ingesting the semen will make them stronger.

More, so they are kept aside for 3 years and are told to maintain a strict diet, which will make them stronger. Denial from the boys in performing these rituals usually involves death.

Once they pass this stage, the father looks for a wife for him. The boys cannot have physical relations until the girl has her first menstruation. While he awaits this, he is trained to disassociate himself from satisfying the woman fully because she might make him fall ill and die.

Even after he has relations with the girl, he has to undergo another nose bleeding to purify himself of her illness. This process only stops once the woman gives birth. Then only the male is believed to be respected as warriors and full-grown men.

This ritual is kept as a secret by the male. If he reveals it to his wife he is punished to death.
