Roseau, Dominica: Bouyon Legends Triple Kay will perform in the World Creole Music Festival of Dominica, which will be kicked off today. He is an artist under the strictly local category and known for his rocking performance with Bouyon music.

First known in the Cadencelypso genre as well as Haitian Compas and Zouk, Triple Kay became the Bouyon sensation when Wayne “Mr. Benji N’O” Benjamin joined the band.

Over the past 20 years, the band has produced over nine albums, released hundreds of songs, and performed thousands of hours across Dominica, the Caribbean, North America, Europe, and more.

Following the devastation of Hurricane Maria, Triple Kay released “Still Standing” in 2018, a single that rapidly became an anthem of resilience for Dominica and nations facing adverse circumstances.

TK is a staple of Dominica’s World Creole Music Festival and has yet to miss a staging of this signature event.

Outside of dominating in the Bouyon genre, TK never forgets to give back. They’ve donated over $20,000 to the Education Trust Fund, $9,000 to the Dominica Council on Ageing, and various other charities and community projects across Dominica and the West Indies.
