St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris provides an update on the arrival of the body of the late Ambassador and Former Premier of Nevis Vance Amory in the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis on Monday, April 18, 2022.
The body of the late Vance Amory, who also remained Senior Minister in the Federal Cabinet and Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary, will be arrived from London in the twin-island Federation on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
After the arrival of the body in the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, the body will lie in state at the Parliamentary Chambers, Government Headquarters, Chruch Street, Basseterre. The body of Vance Amory will lie down in Basseterre from Thursday, April 21, 2022, to Friday, April 22, 2022.
On Thursday, April 21, 2022, the viewing of the body will take place as people could see the late Former Premier of Nevis. The viewing time is 9: 30 am to 3: 30 pm.
On Friday, April 22, 2022, people or relatives of the Ambassador could also see the body between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm. The viewing will be taken place for two days.
Further, It was also stated that the people of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis would get the chance to file past the casket to Vance Amory. They would be able to pay their respects and tribute to the Ambassador on these two and during the hours that are above mentioned.
After the stated events get over, the body of the later Premier Vance Amory will then be transferred over to Nevis.

Former Premier of Nevis and Ambassador Vance Winkworth Amory passed away on April 2, 2022. He was admitted to the hospital of London, United Kingdom due to his suffering from a disease, where he was declared dead.
