  • Haa Valley

Unknown to most tourists, Haa Valley welcomes people with its beautiful and serene landscape, traditional architecture, and cultural heritage. The valley also offers local farms, walk through the forest and people can take a dip in the nearby hot springs.

  • Lhuntse

Located in the Eastern part of the country, Lhuntse is known for its weaving traditions and remote location. The traditional way of life in Bhutan can be widely experienced in the place as it showcases the country’s traditional attire, called Kira and Gho. The place is filled with various ancient temples such as  Lhuntse Dzong, and it has significant fortress monasteries in the country.

  • Gangtey Valley

Known for its picturesque and serene locations, Gangtey Valley is situated in central Bhutan. Various black-necked cranes migrated from Tibet every winter making the place their home. While taking a walk through the pine forests, tourists can witness the natural habitat of the cranes. They can also experience the beauty of the Gangtey Monastery which is the largest monastery in Bhutan.

  • Phobjikha Valley

Another attraction of the central part of the country is Phobjikha Valley which is filled with stunning natural beauty featuring the vast wetland and beautiful landscapes. The magnificent serene places in the valley can make your trip interesting and beautiful.

  • Trashigang

The largest district in Eastern Bhutan, Trashigang is known as one of the most remote regions of the country. The stunning scenery, traditional architecture and unique festivals bring tourists in the country. People can witness the beauty of Bhutan in various locations such as Trashigang Dzong, one of the largest and most impressive fortress monasteries in Bhutan. The town’s bustling market attracts visitors from across the globe.

  • Bumthang Valley

The central Bhutan region Bumthang valley is known for its temples and monasteries and its beautiful scenery, traditional architecture and rich cultural heritage. The places such as Jambay Lhakhang attract visitors with their unique festivals and traditions.

  • Merak and Sakteng

These two remote villages are located in Eastern Bhutan and are known for their traditional customs and beliefs.
