Barbados reports 126 new COVID-19 cases

Out of total cases, the number of females who tested positive against the Covid-19 viral infection stood at 63 while 97 males have been identified positive.

The number of cases of the infection caused by the novel coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours on Friday, March 11, 2022, stood at 126 in Barbados. The best-Dos Santos Health Laboratory started that they have processed a total 937 samples on the day against the Covid-19 viral infection.

Out of total cases, the number of females who tested positive against the Covid-19 viral infection stood at 63 while 97 males have been identified positive.
As per the report of the health laboratory, a total of 29 were under the age of 18 while the remaining 105 people were 18 or older than 18..

As per the statics of fatalities, Barabados have reported 2 additional deaths due to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus after the days of no fatality. Out of the fatalities, a one 68 year old females have lot her life due to the viral infection and she was vaccinated against the illness. On the other hand, the another deaths has been reported from males who was 87 year old and unvaccinated against the Covid-19 infection over the past 24 hours on Saturday, February 26,2022.

With the new death reporting I’m the country, the toll of the fatalities related to the Covid-19 infection stood at 316.

The isolation facility of the novel coronavirus a total of1918 people are following the isolation protocol at their homes due to the Covid-19 infection.

A per the vaccination status of the country, a total of 160,064 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine under the national vaccination programme of Barbados and the people have been considered as partially vaccinated.

The toll of the vaccination with one dose represent 70.1 percent of the eligible population.
At the same time, a total of 148,343 people have been vaccinated with the second jab of the vaccine against the Covid-19 infection and are fully vaccinated. It represent 55.1percent of the total population.
