Barbados logs 220 new COVID-19 cases
A total of 195 people have been exposed to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus over the last 24 hours in Barbados on Thursday, February 24, 2022. The best dos Santos Health Laboratory asserted that they had reported a total of 83 males and 122 females tested positive against the COVID-19 infection out of the total cases.
As per the reports, a total of 42 people out of the cases were under the age of 18, while the remaining 153 people were either 18 years old or older than that.
As per the statistics of the isolation facilities, a total of 95 people have been admitted to the isolation facilities due to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus. On the other hand, 2,123 people have been stayed in the home isolation by following the protocols related to the Covid-19 pandemic due to the mild symptoms in Barbados.
A total of 312 people have been lost their lives due to the viral infection caused by the Covid-19 pandemic so far, as no additional fatality has been reported on February 24, 2022, in Barbados.
Further, 582,620 samples have been processed with the testing methods of the C9vid-19 pandemic since the pandemic has emerged in the country, Out of the total tests, a total of 54,731 people have been exposed to the viral infection, and 25,407 were among the male pollution of Barbados, while 29,324 were females tested positive against the Covid-19.

As per the Health Laboratory, Since the Vaccination drive has started in the country, a total of 159,900 people have received the first dose of the vaccine against the viral infection of the novel coronavirus, which represents 70.1 percent of the eligible population.
On the other hand, a total of 149,234 people are fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 infection, which means a total of 55.1 percent receives their required number of jabs.
