Barbados hosts 2022 Powerade Inter-School Swimming Championships, know result

Pirates swim club Barbados competed at the 2022 Powerade Inter-School Swimming Championships. The Pirates swim club expressed pride in the performance of the swimming team.

Bridgetown, Barbados: Pirates swim club Barbados competed at the 2022 Powerade Inter-School Swimming Championships. The Pirates swim club expressed pride in the performance of the swimming team. 

It cited, “We are extremely proud of our Pirates swimmers who competed at this year’s Powerade Inter-School Swimming Championships.” 

The names of the players who participated in the swimming championships are as follows: 

Brennan Watson, Fynn Armstrong, Jake Chee-a-Tow, Aquan Crichlow, Jaiya Simmons, Heidi Stoute, Fayth Jeffrey, Toria Alleyne, Kaitlin Balgobin, Rebecca Weekes, Kenyah Deane, Heidi Baker, Naraia McClean.

Pirates swim club Barbados outlined the result of the championship with the names of the winners of different age-group. 

Special mention to the Age-group winners:

The age group of 11-12 Girls: The first place was secured by Jaiya Simmons, second place was won by Heidi Stoute, and Toria Alleyne secured third place.  

  • Jaiya Simmons – 1st place
  • Heidi Stoute – 2nd place
  • Toria Alleyne – 3rd place

The age group of 13-14 Girls: Heidi Baker secured first place, while Naraia McClean won third place in the championship. 

  • Heidi Baker – 1st place
  • Naraia McClean – 3rd place

The age group of 15-17 Boys: Jake Chee-A-Tow secured first place in the swimming championship, while Aquan Crichlow won third place. 

  • Jake Chee-A-Tow – 1st place
  • Aquan Crichlow – 3rd place

Pirates Swim Club Barbados appreciated the swimmers with the greetings, “An excellent performance, as always, swimmers.” They extended congratulations to defending champions Harrison College on retaining his title. 

Earlier, On November 19, 2022, Pirates swim club Barbados outlined the results of the Pirates swimmers who performed exceptionally well at this year’s Purity Primary Schools Swimming Championships.

The medal winners are as follows: Raine, Zavia, Gabriella, Shania, Kaija, Marai, Jayla-Marie, Lucrezia, Quinn, Rowan, Tejay, Zachary, Sebastien, Alex and Theo. Further, Nelani and Liam competed fiercely in their relay finals. 

Age-group Champions were as follows: 

  • Alex Armstrong – 1st place 11-12 age-group
  • Zavia Branch – 1st place 11-12 age-group
  • Lucrezia Chiomento – 2nd place 11-12 age-group
  • Kaija Eastmond – 1st Place 9-10 age-Group
  • Theo Narain – 2nd Place 9-10 age-Group
  • Rowan Watson – 3rd place 7-8 age-group
