Bahamas: The Help Desks have been set up at the COVID-19 Vaccination centres to assist with appointments of the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in the Bahamas.

The office of the Prime Minister of the Bahamas stated, “A Help Desk has been set up at each Vaccination centre to assist individuals having difficulty making an appointment to receive the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine through – vax.gov.bs.”

However, before visiting any vaccination centre, an individual should try the following steps to attempt to correct the issue-

  •  Try entering another phone number -Enter another cell phone number you may have or your home phone or landline number.
  •  Check your email- If you entered a landline number, the One Time Passcode – OTP needed to make the appointment would be sent to your email address.
  • Ensure phone number or email is the same used to book the first appointment. If someone else booked the appointment for your first dose using their phone number or email, they would also need to book the appointment for your second dose.

If none of the above options work, people can return to the vaccination centre where they have received their first dose and visit the Help Desk.

At the Help Desk, information of an individual would be updated, and an individual would be able to make an appointment for the next day. It is necessary to bring – Yellow Vaccination Card to the Vaccination Center.
