St Kitts and Nevis: Azamara Onward added cheer this holiday season with its inaugural cruise call to St Kitts for the first time. Azamara extends 592 feet long and 84 feet wide and weighs 30,277 tons. St Kitts made its 6th Inaugural Call for the season as it welcomed the cruise until 9 pm.

The upscale vessel provides the advantages of small-vessel cruising while providing rich experiences for its guests. The cruise vessel has a guest capacity of 684 cruise passengers, 408 crew, and staff.

Earlier, on December 10, 2022, the unscheduled cruise call of vessel “Evrima” graced the shores of St Kitts. The cruise vessel has docked at Port Zante. Cruise activity continues to bolster the destination.

On December 05, Star Legend of Windstar Cruises also made an unscheduled cruise call to St Kitts. The cruise vessel arrives in St. Kitts at 12 pm and departs at 7 pm.

As cruise tourism continues to rebound, the tourism ministry is delighted to celebrate their first quintuple cruise ship day.

Three cruise ships that docked at Port Zante yesterday (Monday, December 05) brought hundreds of cruise passengers to the island of St. Kitts, giving them the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich culture and history of our beautiful Federation.

The three ships that were docked here were Celebrity Edge, Norwegian Dawn and Celebrity Millennium.

St Kitts adds another prestigious accolade to an already extensive list of achievements. Caribbean Journal has identified the destination as the 2023 Caribbean Destination of The Year during its Caribbean Travel Awards announcement. St Kitts has been recognized for its heavy concentration on providing rich and authentic travel experiences and its diligent focus on sustainability, community, and the natural environment.

Buzzy cruise activity continues to unfold for St Kitts. The destination experiences an exciting quadruple cruise call day featuring Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Millennium, Norwegian Dawn, and an unscheduled call from Star Pride of Windstar Cruises on December 5, 2022.

The St Kitts Tourism Authority’s Sales Representative, Southeast US, Allison Shultz recently attended the CCRA Agent Show in Atlanta Georgia. This event afforded rich marketing opportunities for St Kitts, as the destination was promoted to various CCRA travel advisors with a special focus on romance, weddings, and large groups.

The agent show also allowed for the promotion of extended stay-over options and cruise stop-overs. Travel agents are critical to the selling and promotion of the destination to individuals who are seeking guidance on travel options.

The first week in December promises buzzy cruise activity for St Kitts. The destination expects triple, quadruple, and quintuple cruise calls this week. The increased cruise calls provide exciting opportunities for tourism stakeholders such as taxi operators, tour operators, merchants, restaurants, and vendors, to name a few, to capitalize on increased visits to the island.
