The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the government of India and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) had offered scholarships to pursue the study of Indian Culture.
Antigua and Barbuda: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the government of India and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) had offered scholarships to pursue the study of Indian Culture.
They stated that the students could pursue their carrier in the areas of various art forms. It also included dance, music, theatre, performing art, sculpture, Indian Languages, Indian Cuisine etc. The scholarships will be applicable for the academic year 2022-2023.
As per the notice of Antigua and Barbuda, a total of hundred people will get the scholarships under their programme globally. The programme will be given on the basis of first-cone and first serve.
The scholarships will also include the return economy calls airfare to the nearest airport and the 3rd AC Train fare, which is available to the place of study if so required.

Further, the government has also advised the applicants to visit the official website of their preferred Universities/Institutes through which they could conduct thorough analyses and research of their particular courses offered. They could also get information about the eligibility criteria for the scholarships. The website will also provide general information about each University/Institute before applying for admission.
Further, Students have to upload their recent passport sized photograph on the application form. It includes copies of all academic qualifications, certificates and mark sheets, school leaving examination results, certificates of physical fitness in the prescribed form, and recommendations. These all documents are required by the Universities, and a certified copy of the bio-data page of the applicant’s valid passport. A printed and signed copy of the application, along with copies of all documents uploaded on the portal, should also be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by 27th May 2022.
Further, as per the eligibility, the applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of admission and not more than 30 years.
