Antigua and Barbuda to host Tourism Awards Gala, announces nominees for different categories

Antigua and Barbuda is all set to host the Tourism Awards Gala on December 11, 2022, at the Sandals Grande Antigua under the theme, "Festival of Colours". The Ministry of Tourism and Investment announced the nominees for the different categories of the awards function. 

Antigua and Barbuda: Antigua and Barbuda is all set to host the Tourism Awards Gala on December 11, 2022, at the Sandals Grande Antigua under the theme, “Festival of Colours”. The Ministry of Tourism and Investment announced the nominees for the different categories of the awards function. 

The name of the candidates are as follows: 

  • Port Frontline Employee of the Year 2022
  • Tour Guide of the year 2022
  • Tourism Employee of the Year 2022
  • Transportation Service Provider of the year 2022

These candidates have demonstrated excellence and outstanding achievements contributing towards the Tourism Industry throughout the year. The nominees and winners will be recognized at the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Awards Gala, to take place on December 11 2022 at the Sandals Grande Antigua.

 The nominees for Tourism Employee of the year 2022 are: 

  • Gillian Banit- Dupigny (Antigua and Barbuda Ports Authority)
  • Javier Jacobs (Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority)
  • Veryssa Mannix (Antigua Cruise Port)
  • Varshit Ramsay Casimir( Ministry of Tourism and Investment)
  • Liz Prosper Henry

The nominees for Transportation Service Provider of the year 2022

  • Williams Bill Francis (Antigua National Taxi Association)
  • Deivin Elvis George
  • Herbeat Brown (United Taxi Company)

The nominees for Tour Guide of the Year 2022

  • Tanisha Anthony (Antigua and Barbuda National Ports Authority)
  • Gabrielle James

  • Albert Benjamin
