Antigua and Barbuda to host basketball “Championship Night”, know deets

Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association is all set to host division two “Championship Night” under the theme- “who will take the league title”, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

The night will be held at the oval basketball court. The final match will be held between Flyers 2- Spanish Heat and New Generation Slam- Ottos Coolers. The game will start at 6: 45 pm.

Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association took to Facebook and stated that the dust has finally settled but now it’s time to determine who is the CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS for the LEAGUE TITLE. Two heavyweights SPANISH HEAT and OTTOS COOLERS will clash for the first time this season to determine the overall LEAGUE CHAMPIONS after winning their zones.

They will clash at 8:30. But before that matchup, a third place winner must be decided and Flyers 2 will battle New Generation Slam at 6:45 for the bronze medal. It promises to be an exciting night of basketball at Ovals in Antigua and Barbuda.

Antigua and Barbuda Basketball association invited the citizens and basketball lovers to enjoy the championship night and support their favourite team. While inviting the citizens, Antigua and Barbuda basketball association stated, “Be there.”

The championship night will be held between two standings which are zone 1 and zone 2.

Zone 1 will be included:

  • Ottos Coolers 13-1
  • New Generation Slam 10-4
  • Old Road Daggers 9-5
  • Wadadli Elite 9-5
  • Rebels 8-6
  • Raeburn Generators United 4-10
  • Fearless Crew 23-11
  • Cuties Ovals Superior 0-14

Zone 2 will be included:

  • Spanish Heat 13-1
  • Flyers 2 11-3
  • Fearless Crew 1 11-3
  • Cuties Oval Young Guns 9-5
  • Wadadli Elite2 6-8
  • Gaston Browne Pointville Ballers 4-10
  • Ottos Clippers 3-11
  • Young Warriors Ballers 0-14

Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association are used to host such events and matches. It also hosted a media tour recently and President Mike also attended the tour.

In the media tour, President Mike has been talking all things basketball starting at 8 am with Epilus on Platinum radio.
