Antigua and Barbuda: The Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda has shared an update on the most loved and upcoming Carnival 2022 in the Caribbean country.
Further, in order to address all the measures related to the festival Carnival 2022, the Minister of Creative Industries has invited four experts from the Festivals Office who will be addressed the most loved festivals.
The Officer responsible for finances has also given an update on the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG), as it has been unused for more than two years and it requires substantial upgrading. The Minister of Works further expressed the resemblance that the Ministry would carefully be examined and analyze the state of the ARG. The Double Decker ARG Stand that has already been criticized might be removed in a few weeks, which would create a new space for special arrangements for the festival of Carnival.
Further, Contemplation has been given to razing Vivian Richards Stand to ensure the pave the way for the superior modern facility.
The food vendors who would be in the ARG will further move into the completed temporary space directly outside the Antigua Recreation Grounds. APUA will also install further water and proper disposal for the runoff.
The authorities of the country have further encouraged the participants in the Carnival of Antigua and Barbuda to get vaccinated or to be tested against the viral infection of Covid-19 before participating in troupes and other groups.
Sailing Week has shown great potential, which is one of the largest in a long time. The festivities are all possible as the retreat of Covid-19 could be caused primarily by the percentage of vaccinated individuals in Antigua and Barbuda.
A total of 10,000 more residents of the Caribbean country need to be vaccinated in order to make the country safer.
