Antigua and Barbuda: The government of Antigua and Barbuda invited all women entrepreneurs in the country on July 13, 2022. 

Jan’s Empowerment Institute (JEI) Inc. and its partners at the U.S. Embassy to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean and the OECS expressed pleasure in announcing the second staging of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Programme in Antigua and Barbuda. 

AWE seeks to promote economic prosperity by creating opportunities for women with brilliant ideas to become successful entrepreneurs.

The Academy is worked to provide a free entrepreneurship programme to help women entrepreneurs thrive. 

Outlining the requirement for the application, the programme is open to females 18 years and older. Aspiring and current full-time entrepreneurs (businesses must be registered for less than three years) can apply. Individuals must be citizens or legal residents of Antigua and Barbuda and commit to all programme activities.

  • Monthly Workshops
  • Group Mentorship
  • Community Projects
  • Pitech Competition
  • Networking Activities
  • Graduation Ceremony
