Antigua and Barbuda: The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment successfully hosted seedling and seasoning demos and distribution at Hero’s park on Thursday, May 5th 2022.
Nutrition Officer Charity Dublin indicated that the goal of providing seedlings and seasonings to fifty persons was reached.
In addition to the seedling and seasoning distribution, the event was also used as an opportunity to provide nutritional tips for reducing salt intake as well as tips for creating herb gardens.
The seedling and seasoning Demo and Distribution were held at 2:00 pm and ended at around 4: 00 pm.

COVID-19 in Antigua and Barbuda:
As per the most recent report of the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Environment, a total of nine people were exposed to the viral infection of the novel coronavirus on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022.
On Tuesday, a total of seventy samples were processed by the laboratory of the Antigua and Barbuda against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Around 6 pm, a total of nine cases of the COVID-19 pandemic were confirmed by the laboratory of Antigua and Barbuda.
Out of the seventy samples that were processed on Tuesday, a total of nine people contracted the COVID-19 pandemic, and a total of seven people have been recvi9ed from the deadly viral infection.
As per the Health Ministry of the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of the confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Antigua and Barbuda stood at seven thousand six hundred and sixty-three since the pandemic has emerged in the country.
Out of the total confirmed cases, till now, only fifty-five active cases are present in Antigua and Barbuda.
However, there is one case who is under moderate hospitalized condition. Further, the government of Antigua and Barbuda also encouraged the citizens to get vaccinated as it is the only solution to combat the virus.
