Antigua and Barbuda: Antigua and Barbuda is all set to choose their representatives today, January 18, 2023. The citizens will exercise their democratic rights and vote for different political parties.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne asked people to vote for Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party and added that it is time to choose between the ABLP team that is rebuilding our economy after COVID – the team that delivered over 1,000 new homes, the new port, UWI Five Islands and who delivered this record cruise season and dead hand Lovell, a failed former finance minister who mashed up our economy backed by a team of questionable characters with no experience.

He added, “We must not take a risk. We must take our country to the next level. Polls are open from 6 am to 6 pm. Bring your voter ID card with you and do not wear red.”

Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party also promised the Next Level of development and progress would be powered by the unparalleled spirit of resilience that defines the Antiguan and Barbudan people.

PM Gaston Browne added that in this election, the choice is clear: the people want Next Level development, empowerment and progress, NOT a repeat of past failure. Jobs are coming back and the economy is rebounding – Now is NOT the time to take a risk with a pack of failures and novices who will need on-the-job training.

“On Wednesday, January 18, vote for the skilled, steady and proven leadership of Team Labour. We delivered an economy that recovered from COVID and is growing again. Do not put it at risk with Dead Hand Lovell, “said the prime minister.

PM Gaston Browne added that this election is a choice about who you want to manage our economy. Under our leadership, we delivered an economic rebound after COVID, we built UWI Five Islands, we built 1,000 new homes and we delivered the new port. Harold Lovell mash up the economy and leads a team of novices who are not ready to manage the affairs of the country. The time is now. Vote ABLP to take the country to the next level.

“Antigua and Barbuda is red and redddyyy for Wednesday. We must not be distracted. We must keep our economy growing after COVID and not put it at risk. The stakes are too high to turn the country over to Dead Hand Lovel, “said the prime minister.Â
