St Kitts and Nevis: American Airlines is all set to provide additional flights between Miami and St Kitts and Nevis for the upcoming “St Kitts Music Festival” carded from June 22 to June 24, 2023. Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson announced the decisions and stated that the airlines made connectivity to the island easier for music lovers with additional service.
She said that the decision had been made during the Routes Americas route development conference in Chicago. The airlines announced that they will provide additional service to St Kitts for its 25th music festival.
While sharing the schedule of the flights, the Caribbean Tourism Authority announced that the service of America Airlines will start four flights on June 21, 2023, and on June 25, 2023. The two inbound flights will fly on June 21, while two outbound flights will fly on June 25 to accommodate festival patrons.
The Tourism Ministry of St Kitts and Nevis announced the 2023 edition of the Music Festival, which will be held from June 22 to June 24, 2023, at Warner Park. Various dynamic lineups of musical artists, such as the Chronixx, Koffee, Govana, Skillibeng, Air Supply, Valiant, Patrice Roberts, Skinny Fabulous, Byron Messia, and Grand Masters Band, will perform at the music festival.
Recently, interCaribbean Airways also announced the additional flights between Barbados and St Kitts thrice weekly. Marsha Henderson said that the tourism sector of the country will witness significant growth with the strengthening of the airlift capacity.
While lauding the government, Marsha Henderson said that their Labour Party is committed to uplifting the tourism industry, which will further help in economic stability and livelihoods for its citizens. She said that the additions in the airlift capacity clearly showcase the confidence of America in the destination.
Highlighting the chance of opportunities, Henderson added that the additional flights will boost the tourism sector and create new opportunities.
