Ukraine: Amani Swiss is all set to make a charitable donation of 1.8 million dollars to support the people of Ukraine. The donation will be included specialized medications for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and those suffering from acute radiation syndrome.
The announcement was made during the special ceremony in the presence of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Greece, Shoutenko Sergii, and the Consul General of Ukraine in Thessaloniki, Sabluk Vadim, on Thursday, at the Porto Palace Hotel, Greece.
Amani Swiss will make the donation in collaboration with “Coherus Biosciences” and “Direct Relief”. The President and Managing Director of Amani Swiss, Irini Karipidis, said that they will provide humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people.
Amani Swiss President, said that Ukraine and its people have faced massive hardships; citizens have died, and both soldiers and civilians have gone through the toughest phases of their life. She reiterated their commitment and backed the people of Ukraine in their struggling time.
She said that critical infrastructures have been destroyed, and basic state services are barely functioning. Karipidis further added that they understand the donation is not the magic wand which can turn time and bring things as they were in February 2022 before the Russian invasion.
“But it is our duty and sincere goal to serve humanity and provide support to the people as much as we can. We are and will always be there for the proud people of Ukraine and support them in their toughest phase of life.”

During the ceremony, Ambassador Shoutenko Sergii expressed gratitude to Amani Swiss. He said that Ukrainians are known for promoting resilience and unity in the face of a common threat.
“Despite Moscow’s attempts to erase us from the map, we will fight until the territory of Ukraine is restored in its internationally recognized borders. We are fighting not only for our territory and independence, we are fighting for democratic values and the rule of law.”

He further noted that they are grateful to Greece for their continuous support and assistance in showcasing the power of unity. He also extended gratitude to Aris football club, Amani Swiss, Coherus Biosciences and Direct Relief and the personally President of Aris- Irini Karipidi, for a donation of medical supplies.
