Air Canada doubles service to Grenada, starts four weekly flights 

Air Canada has doubled their service to Grenada for the winter season. From October 29 2023, four weekly flights will be available from Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Grenada: Air Canada has doubled their service to Grenada for the winter season. From October 29 2023, four weekly flights will be available from Toronto Pearson International Airport. 

The carrier will operate four weekly flights from Toronto Pearson (YYZ) to Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND) starting October 29, 203. Air Canada nonstop flights operate on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

  • Flight from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Maurice Bishop International Airport, Grenada (GND) will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The departure time of the flight is 9: 30 am and the arrival time is 3: 55 pm. 
  • Flight from Maurice Bishop International Airport, Grenada (GND) to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) will fly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The flight will be departed from GND at 4: 55 pm and arrive at YYZ at 9: 55 pm. 

Tourists can book their flights online or through their friendly travel agent. Grenada Tourism Authority said, ”Canadian travellers, are you looking for a tropical escape during this winter season? Grenada is the perfect choice for you with our new 4-flight-per-week plan with Air Canada for this winter season. We can’t wait to welcome you all.”

Along with that, Nino Montagnese, Vice President at Air Canada Vacations, also expressed pleasure in offering service to Grenada. He said that the expansion of the connection between Grenada and Toronto with up to four flights per week will enhance the travel experience of the travellers. The flights will provide access to travellers to visit Grenada and experience its unspoiled natural gems and crystalline waters. 

The return of the direct service by Air Canada will work as a positive development for the tourism industry of Grenada. With the service, the flights will get access to major events such as Grenada Rugby World 7s taking place from November 30 – December 2, and Carriacou Parang Festival from December 15-17, to name a few.
