A mother donates her ‘kidney’ to save 15-year-old son

Guyana: It is rightly said that mother love is endless; recently, news came from Guyana. A 15 years old Aditya Mohabir has difficulty breathing and vomiting blood from his mouth from the month of August.

15-year-old Aditya is diagnosed with hemophilia, and doctors declared that his survival depends upon kidney transplantation. 

Thirty-two years old Nadia Budwah, his mother, decided to donate her kidney to his son.

Nadia Budwah, who is donating her kidney to save her 15-year-old son’s life, is seeking financial aid to compensate for dialysis treatment costs. Nadia Budwah, during an interview with the Associates Times.

She said the family is barely managing to make ends meet with the medical bills. The teenager, Aditya Mohabir, was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure in August last year, and since then, he has been surviving on dialysis until the surgery can be done. While the government will be covering the expense for the surgery, the treatment cost for the dialysis is solely on the family. Anyone willing to support the family can contact 686 – 1355.

After this news, her mother is hoping that many hands would come forward to help them. Talking to the Associates Times, Rambo said,” I want to help them, and I salute the mother will who are doing such a great thing and setting an example in front of this world .”
