462 new covid-19 cases registered in Trinidad and Tobago

Nearly 527 people are still admitted to the hospital

Trinidad and Tobago: Trinidad and Tobago recorded 462 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the active caseload to 10,558. Recently the Health Ministry has released the data in the Covid updation report of 29th November 2021.

The active caseload stands at 10,558. In comparison, a total of 57,906 individuals have been recovered from this contagious COVID-19 virus. Nearly 527 people are still admitted to the hospital. The Health Ministry also highlighted in the report that a total of 2,134 patients have died on the island as of 29th November 2021.

According to the report, there is a total of 174 patients present in the step-down facilities, around 76 individuals are in the state-quarantine facilities. A total of 9,395 people on the island have isolated them at their respective residences during the COVID-19 pandemic, as per the data shared in the health ministry’s report of T&T.

The Government has vaccinated 643,911 people with one dose of vaccine, while a total of 642,105 people have been fully vaccinated on the island.

Till now, vaccines administered by the Ministry of Health:
120,100 AstraZeneca Oxford vaccine
411,056 got Sinopharm vaccine
112,755 doses of Pfizer
42,840 Johnson & Johnson.

In Trinidad and Tobago, a total of 98 people have been discharged from the public health facilities, and nearly 235 are listed in recovered community cases.

The recovered community cases are characterized as the one who were affected by the COVID-19 virus, after which they were in self-isolation, and the time they reach the discharge criteria, they will be officially released from self-isolation under the Government guidelines. In the last 24 hrs, T&T recorded 19 additional death on the island.
