Trinidad and Tobago: In Trinidad and Tobago, the Office of Prime Minister announced that Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley, following COVID-19, was administered for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan as a part of ongoing healthcare and observation.
The statement read: “As part of the ongoing healthcare and observation provided to Prime Minister Dr the Hon Keith Rowley in Tobago, the assigned doctors took the Prime Minister from the official Residence at Blenheim to the Scarborough General Hospital at Signal Hill. Where he underwent an MRI examination to monitor his lung functions.”

There are no reports about whether there were some issues with the prime minister’s health or just a routine checkup. According to information, Dr Keith Rowley has returned to his personal isolation at his residence at the Blenheim, where he continues to be monitored and cared for by healthcare workers of the Tobago Regional Health Authority.
Neighbouring political individuals have expressed their well wishes for the Prime Minister. Prime Minister of St Lucia, Allen Chastanet said “COVID-19 does not care about our religion, political affiliation, economic status or position in society. This is why our Government, others around the Caribbean and other parts of the world continue to do our best to keep ourselves, our families and our country safe.” He further added, “Wishing my colleague Prime Minister Hon. Dr Keith Rowley, a speedy recovery. You are in my prayers.”

Apart from this, Prime Minister is actively participating in the virtual meetings to keep the momentum going for the country. The government official said that PM would resume the service as soon as he recovers from coronavirus.
