St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Timothy Harris acknowledged all nurses for doing a fantastic job with the vaccination roll out against coronavirus.
“St Kitts and Nevis is reaching 30 percent of its target population in a few days. Leadership at its best.” PM Harris said.
He also urged people to get vaccinated themselves; he also ensured that the vaccine is completely safe.
He visited at vaccination centre where he personally praised Nurses Sylvia Isaac, and Connor who returned from retirement to help country vaccination roll-out, and they make PM & people proud.
Also, St Kitts and Nevis is expected to get the vaccine through COVAX facilities very soon.
On the occasion of holy Easter, PM Harris wished people of St Kitts and Nevis and prayed for the country’s wellbeing.
“Our #EasterSunday Service was truly uplifting and a reminder that
the #Ressurection brings a renewed opportunity to re-set our lives and move forward on the right path,” PM said.
He added, “May God bless our nation and our people at home and abroad.”
“My thanks to the congregation at the House of Deliverance New Testament Church of God in Tabernacle for their warm welcome and to those who joined me at the service, namely Tony Ross QC, PLP National Legal Representative, Ambassador His Excellency Michael Powell, Dr Sharon-Ann Gopaul McNicol, and PLP Senator and Deputy Speaker the Hon Dr Bernicia Nisbett.” PM Harris noted.
To make the economy running the prime minister also met with some of the hotelier, “I was pleased to meet our workers who are benefiting from the confidence in our hotel industry. Developer John Zuliani has started a luxury villa project. ” He said.
He also emphasized that St Kitts and Nevis is on the road to recovery.
Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley also appeals to people to vaccinate themselves.
