St Lucia: Prime Minister of Saint Lucia Allen Chastanet speaks on the importance of opening the economy in the time of coronavirus. 

In a statement, PM said, ”I am grateful & I am proud of the fact that this government has been able to manage its affairs so that we never caused to think or consider from where expenditure comes from & they have been able to honour their own obligations.

Every single solution in this country deserves the same & maintained our economy open for all.

All of us follow protocols, so I want to thank all of you for what you are doing, your patience, your frustration & we as a government can feel the pain. 

“We need your help to overcome this and to succeed,” Prime Minister Allen Chastanet.

The prime minister also thanked all the country’s social organizations who contributed remarkably in the tough time of coronavirus.

He appeals to people to follow all kinds of given protocols until we all do not complete victory; he urged people to wear masks & use alcohol-based sanitizer to avoid public places. 

As the country has started its vaccination program, he also applies people to register themselves for the vaccination process; he assured that the vaccine is entirely safe; a few days ago, he got vaccinated with his wife. 

He also assured for the free vaccine for the people of St Lucia, as WHO and other world organizations would help St Lucia get of the vaccine.

PM with his team continuously making its efforts to revive the economy, and in the meantime, he is also completing previous development projects.
